Deck Primer

Reworked the kaisernail deck with a more blue focused gimmick. Alphamon is a really good tech in for mirror matches especially combined with UlforceVeedramon as the on play effect of alpha lets you slot in an additional lvl6 form the royal knights line up thus giving you an additional 2 cards trashed off his effect. Alphamon is a really good tech in for mirror matches especially combined with UlforceVeedramon as the on play effect of alpha lets you slot in an additional lvl6 form the royal knights line up thus giving you an additional 2 cards trashed off his effect. A 3 cost Apocalymon thrown down allows you to slot in 2 royal knights lvl6s with Alphamon's on play thus trashing 10 cards the turns its played instead of 8. This effect doesnt have a limit either so at the end of turn when you slot in Alphamon you will be trashing an additional 4 cards instead of 2. This also prevents digimon with a playcost of 10 or higher from swinging and while this is nice you ideally are using the effect to outpace in the mirror match. As well Ulforcevee allows you to trash 2 sources from any of your opponents digimon for every blue tamer you have in play. The deck runs 5 tamers allowing you to potentially trash up to 10 sources, though having only 2 tamers in play can be just as effective in the mirror. Howling crusher was added as a flex card, it can definitely be replaced with anything, as well as MarineAngemon being slotted in as a cheeky recovery play for an end of turn where your opponent may have multiple digimon without inheritables. This pairs really well when combined with howling crusher to remove all of the inheritables on your opponents field and then recovering for each digimon with the end of turn effect. This deck could take advantage of a cheap 2 cost blue tamer like 2 cost Matt to be able to get full effectiveness out of the ulfrocevee but I think as of now with the speed tactic of Alpha combined with the inheritable trashing makes this deck much faster and easier to outpace in a mirror matchup.
