Deck Primer

Blue use apocalymon to allow for lvl6 on play rush.

I do not like the garuru X base for this deck because I feel it slows it down immensely when it comes to drawing and trashing but the blue sources does give a really good tech with kaiser nail allowing you to get multiple level 6 on play effects off in one turn by using kaisernail to play one of your flavor lvl6s then activating apocalymon at the end of turn to stack effects. Being able to inflict a recover +2 and sec - in one turn is very good or activating metallic effect twice works very well. Playing out an additional blocker with cranimon can also help save games and has the bonus of forcing an opponents digimon to attack at the end of their turn which can be blocked by either craniamon or apocalymon.

Kiyoshiro is also a very solid tamer for draws since you can attack with apocalymon to gurantee a draw. I think other blue tamers don't synergies well with the deck except possibly a 1 off tommy for the mirror match as well as sora/joe. Seems like the best way around apocalymon isn't necessarily killing apocalymon but trashing its sources to make it have to build back up before getting its benefit.

More blue will definitely benfit this build but at the cost of losing your mill engine i dont think its all the way worth it. I think this deck absolutely fairs well in the mirror match up since you will get a little more benefit out of your apocalymon than just the trashing and end of turn on play effect but definitely can use more inheritable trashing. Marineangemon from EX2 could also very easily become a better switch for recovery magnadramon if you can manage to get your opponents board filled with digimon without inheritables or go up against deck like royal knights or D-reaper that dont have inheritables, jessmon is also very effected by this due to the sistermons, as well as decks like Anubis that can quickly fill the board with bodies that dont have inheritables.
