When organizing a collection in DigimonCard.io, users often create separate boxes to track different decks, storage locations, or collection categories. As decks are updated, cards frequently need to be moved between these boxes.

Currently, the Move to Box function transfers all copies of a selected card at once. If a user only wants to move a portion of their copies (for example, moving 2 of 5 copies), they must complete multiple manual steps:

  1. Reduce the quantity of the card in the original box.
  2. Add the same card and quantity to the destination box.

This becomes tedious when maintaining multiple deck boxes or frequently updating decks.

Requested Enhancement

Add an additional step after selecting the destination box that allows users to specify the quantity of each selected card they want to move.

Example workflow:

  1. Select card(s) to move.
  2. Select Move to Box.
  3. Choose the destination box.
  4. Enter the quantity to transfer for each selected card.
  5. Confirm the move.

Example:

  • Current Box: BT5-032 Hexeblaumon ×5
  • Move 2 copies to "Blue Deck"
  • Result:
    • Current Box: BT5-032 Hexeblaumon ×3
    • Blue Deck: BT5-032 Hexeblaumon ×2

Benefit

This would make collection management much more efficient for users who track complete collections while also maintaining deck-specific boxes. It reduces repetitive data entry, prevents quantity mistakes, and makes updating decks significantly easier.

Thanks for the suggestion! This was a fantastic suggestion, and I definitely see the value in it. I would have done it yesterday, but I've only returned from vacation today, so I've implemented it over the last few hours.

It's live now!
