From Ex1 retalliation recieved multiple good support cards in the form of VenomMyotismon as a boss monster capable of playing out your pieces (On play not withstanding), Myotismon which grants your retalliation digimon the ability to attack unsuspended digimon (level 4 or lower), and finally EX1 Wizardmon. Ex1 Wizardmon grants all your retalliation digimon rush. No once per turn, no name condition, all they need is that retalliation keyword.

Current version of the deck uses many of those Ex1 cards, however a serious look should be on the Ex1 Wizard, especially with that new Kaguyamon who gives retalliation to all of your puppets and TB digimon while also playing one out of trash (not too disimilar to Ex1 Venom). Other than that, we are focusing on giving our Venom Alliance via the SoC tamer so he can revive a body and instantly alliance with that body (though this does kind of go against the use of Wizard). We are also using a small undead/dark animal toolbox, since Venom and Myotismon fall into both those categories.

A deck I would like to see more support for, I miss this era of card design for keywords. It's not too disimilar to things like black blocker or red blitz. Purple retalliation has a very open design space for future cards.
