Deck Primer

I altered my decks ratios since I won my locals to include the Zenmetsumon.  That is because I can use it to De-Digivolve boards which allows the deck to remove otherwise tricky to deal with boards such as Galacticmon.

I made some minor adjustments to the decks ratios.  Still a work in progress until I can actually test the deck IRL.  Honestly just having the new Gammamon and Regulusmon would do wonders for the deck.  The new tamer may or may not be needed at all.  Gammamon is the kind of deck that needs a lot of testing to be able to truly make it work.  I am excited to see what happens.  Also why isn't all of the stuff in BT 21 on this site yet?  The sets coming out in less than a week if I recall and we still don't have all of the stuff in the site itself.  That's a little bit of an issue as I cannot complete my deck list without having a solid list already.  I need to lay down some solid framework before I make any investments.

I was able to test the deck even without having four of the new Siriusmon.  The deck is powerful.

I took out the warp Cannoweissmon as its warp effect isn't as useful as it used to be.  But the Security Attack Cannoweissmon shares its inherits and ability to copy effects which in turn makes it a little more useful for me.

Any more updates on the deck?

I may end up taking out the memory setter entirely in exchange for running another of the new Cannoweissmon.  Combine that with taking out one copy of the Warp Evolving Gammamon and I can then run another Regulusmon.  This would allows the deck to be mainly focused on the Level 5s but it would lower the number of Gammamon in name to slot underneath my cards for their effects.

thanks I'll give your deck a try on dcgo. I'm curious how aggresive it is. do you miss piercing at all?

Here are some things I would recommend for you to try out.  I highly recommend trying out different ratios for the Level 4s.  Gammamons main strength is their flexibility.  I have my own personal preference and I am certain my play style isn't easy to replicate.  I also never actually ran the piercing WezenGammamon.  Since my build doesn't run as many ways of gaining that effect I cut it from my build.  Different builds benefit much more from it than mine and even then it is typically ran as a one off card if you do run it.  My build is more of a combo/aggro deck than anything.  Hard play as many of the searchers as possible and try to get as many of their low level Digimon out as possible.  Use the tamers to gain a lot of memory and card draw which helps you get to your pieces quickly.  Read the flow of the match.  That is key for the deck to even work at all.  There will be times when you have to delete your own stacks or even attack into security knowing your gonna give your opponent advantage or even lose your Digimon.  Well not like that will happen often as this decks Level 4s get pretty massive.  In one of my test matches I got a GulusGammamon to over 16K DP.  Oh and that reminds me.  The option card Strongest of Brothers is an all turns effect.  You want to see that card as much as possible.  You can do some pretty absurd combos with it.  Here is one example.  BT 21 GulusGammamon is checked in your security.  Play it by its effect.  Slot a Gammamon in name from your hand or trash underneath it to delete a level 4 or lower Digimon.  Delay effect of Brothers to Digivolve into the BT 21 Cannoweissmon.  Cannoweissmon slots a source from hand underneath itself.  Let's say the BT 21 Regulusmon for its inherit.  Something was slotted underneath it again so you can use the delay of the second Brothers to go into a Siriusmon.  You get the point.  That card enables some of the most toxic combos I have ever seen in Digimon.

I went deep into the older level 5's and stopped getting good results after a while. I'm finding the ace very situational so it's at a 1 for now I run 1 more tamer and old school level 5 then what you have currently, which kept me from having the new betel at a full playset. I should try dialing the ratio there up again sincw i started to notice its value with the old lvl5s. I'm thinking I should try 2 bt-10 gulus and the blitz betel to help me clear the board with sirius in some situations.

Sorry for the late update here.  Been busy in all.  I adjusted my ratios for the deck to include the Zenmetsumon.  That gives De-Digivolve to the deck and helps it deal with more troublesome matchups.
