My Attempt at a Competitive Medusamon deck

I tried to mainly focus on Memory Gain and Dp Boost so that medusa could evo up to 5 eaisly then end of turn swing through a dude for 2 or 3 checks

In the end its basicially all Bt21 stuff but its fine

Lv3s

Eliza and GuliX - The Mem gain by 2 differnet methods seems to spread it out more and can help play around some other decks, the on plays of eliza can also help search but the gulis really dont hit

Agu - +2k is pretty good and reptile type for Lamia

My Attempt at a Competitive Medusamon deck

I tried to mainly focus on Memory Gain and Dp Boost so that medusa could evo up to 5 eaisly then end of turn swing through a dude for 2 or 3 checks

In the end its basicially all Bt21 stuff but its fine

Lv3s

Eliza and GuliX - The Mem gain by 2 differnet methods seems to spread it out more and can help play around some other decks, the on plays of eliza can also help search but the gulis really dont hit

Agu - +2k is pretty good and reptile type for Lamia to play out, and can help recycle pieces from trash

Solar - helps shut down royal knights in my meta (can also cut an aguni if need more) open slot for general "can't" effects

Lv4s

Cyclone - the On Play Pop is great for hitting a Petrifi Token and the Security effect and Dragonkin type makes it easy to play no matter where it is

Dimetre - I was running 4/0 of Bt21/P but I got a copy of the promo so I put it in. But Im really not liking it. security on play or an 8k progress check is good but it cant be played off of Lamias effect and once its under the stack its basicially the same as the other

Aguni - Red Hydrid for game

GeoGrey - the tamer play is pretty good when it hits

Lv5s

Lamia - Good card, if its blocked it still pops a security and then you can use the gigi effect to evo into a lv6 before the hit. and the inherit play a dude also really helps keep up the pressure

MetalGrey - Only reason its here is because of the inherit Dragonkin can attack unsuspended is super good cause you can swing into the Petrifi Token. With piercing, Tais +1 and some dp boosts its basicially 4-5 checks at 14-16k. and the digivolve effect of devolve1 and pop a 3 can help trigger your inherits making the evo for 2 rather than 4.

Cyber - the evo effect is ok since it can trigger the inherits but its not the best. the +4k is good though

Arrest SM - just testing for now but it seems kinda ok since you evo for 4 swing without suspending usualy at 12k then since securitys poped you can evo into medusa then owen end of turn swing again.

Lv6s

Medusa - Kinda need for a Medusa Deck

MedievalGallant - Busted effects and probably a 2 of (cut dino) but I didnt wanna spend the extra 80 for another

Dino - Cheaper than Medieval and the suspend and Fortitude help keep it on the board. May swap for a gaiomon since dragonkin but its ok

Lv7s

Bond of Bravery Ace - Just a one of as a suprise ace effect or a evo onto an agumon if needed

Options

Crimson Blaze - good for wiping the board and preventing rookie rushes

Fire Ball - a weird tech but because of the Petrifi Tokens its basicially a pop a security or draw 2 effect and it can be used to remove the last security for game

Raging Serpentine - Ok deletion effect but the delay can really help with combos (swing a lv4 into a Petrifi Token, evo off of gigi, delay evo into medusa for free then the checks happen)

Mems and Trainings - Ive found that I perfer reducing the Evo Cost rather than having liquid memory so insted of 2/2/2 - boost/train/scramble a 1/3/2 spread works a bit better.

Tamers

Owen - Need to see to keep the pressure on and get the psuedo Blitz and Pierce (may cut a scramble to run 4)

Tai - Mem set is great and the Sec+1 on a big stack is just a plus (also swinging into a Petrifi Token with Medusa and 2 Tais is 5 checks)

NEW!!

I updated the deck in Bt24 and now i think its at a place where i can say its compleate. its definatly a bit more controly (Not the meta build) but its fun to play and it gets wins

Main notes

  • Grumblemon is still fun - Red hybrid for game
  • Bt21 Agumon - was for recursion which is still good but can also use the BT5 Gaossmon since its a reptile and can help slow opponents.
  • Ex11 Eliza - its ok, the raids kinda nice but its mainly for the Eliza name and inherited
  • Bt24 Owen - Hes on thin Ice. I was running 3-2-2 of 21-24-11 but he just underperformed (no mem, no draw). However he has saved me at least 2 games by letting me evo to pop the blocker and attack, then go into Dimetro to play the Bt21 allowing me to attack again with my second body for game. So i kinda have to keep him as a 1 of.
  • Promo Dimetro - very undervalued card. security effect lets you play any liberator 4 drop from hand or trash. So you can resurect your owens from trash or drop an eliza to search or really anything. and at the worst it still has the inherited gain 1 and is a 6k body with progress so its a pretty decent swing.

Overall fun deck that performs well in a local setting.
What I think it needs is a small rusher. There is the cyclone but i just dont vibe with it something more like ghosts where is gains rush for a turn when its played or moved or something.
