Main Idea v2:

With Kaguyamons (EX9-033)  ability to play out Level 4 Digimon with the Puppet trait, one can use  Namakemon (BT16-055) to repeatedly protect Kaguyamon at the end of your turn. This can be done by deleting Namakemon with Overclock, Blocker or Hanimons inherit and playing it out with Kaguyamons End of Your Turn effect.

Optimization goals:

  • Currently, 14 cards have security effects. -> Adjusted to 19 cards.
  • Additionally, there are 8 cards (Mirai, Liberator & Shoemon ST19) to search through the deck, and
  • 6 cards can reduce digivolution costs. -> Adjusted to 12 cards.

Adjustments:

After some playtesting, i have realized that:

  • Two Namakemon are to many. I have seen them to often and to early in my hand. Having one in the trash, is all i need against DP-reduction based decks and decks with de-digivolution. The later seems to be the easiest counter against this deck.
  • Junkmon served as an additional protection layer, especially against Megidramon. Thus it might be usefull for those match-ups, but not as usefull for other match-ups.
  • The ST17 Kyaromon is more usefull than EX07 Kyaromon. The latter is no longer really needed due to Alliance.
  • The newly included option cards help memory-choke my oponnent in some cases and provide more draw and search power to the deck. Additionally, security checks may add value back to the deck.

Todo:

  1. Extend text by explaining possible combos and main strategy of the deck.
