4/3/26 - v1.1 - Testing Dragon Gene again and focusing on the ACE more.

Midrange Examon build that leans into old EX3 Examon as a proactive threat (also: he’s cool). The level 6 lineup is still doing work. Dragon Gene is win-more to me as the 5s landing is enough value anyway. You want Mem Boosts out of hand beforehand for hard play turns. If you’re forced to stall, leave a Slayerdramon or Breakdramon name on board so Examon ACE stays live.

Taunt Slayerdramon over the other one. too many digivolution cards in the meta. and more importantly it fully enables Examon ACE, which is the real job of the level 6s. It’s also strong for forcing opponents to attack before they’re set up for the turn. Groundramon pulls more weight than Wingdramon; stun is just too strong. Examon itself is naturally anti-aggro since it stuns Digimon. Partition has overperformed thanks to how many modern lines have mandatory deletion effects. drop Davis as early as possible — it unlocks Mem Boost plus another action

The EX3 Exa is a hedge against de-digivolve which destroys BT23 Exa since it gnores Partition. The level 6 EX3 Exa drops comes out with no sources, so you’re not overcommitting into one stack. From there you can ACE over it or hard-digivolve into BT23 Examon the following turn. If the opponent has to burn through Evade to answer EX3 Examon, you’re happy to rebuild and crack back.
