Deck Primer

This is Chaos Program Black.  The Black Base is more focused on utility and control over the purple base.  The Purple Base also has access to much more recursion.  Since there are more Black cards in the deck, you can run Defense Training as your searcher option to let you find your tamers or even your other Option cards.  DORU-Din is a powerful option card once you get into Dorugoramon.  It can delete a low cost tamer or Digimon and then delete all of your opponents Digimon

I updated the Purple variant by swapping out the BT 14 Loogarmon with the BT 15 Loogarmon.  I also fixed a mistake I made when posting them originally where I had the Dorugoramon on the Purple one and the DexDorugoramon and the Black one when they were meant to be the other way around.  No edits were made to this variant for once.

I made a lot of adjustments here today.  I swapped out the rookie lineup a little and made room for more control tools.  I also swapped out the Dorimon Digi-Egg for the draw one.  The SoC Dorimon is my preferred Digi-Egg but the card draw is useful as well.  Choose which one you want to run according to your preferences.  If you are not running the Marvin engine then I recommend not running the draw Dorimon.  You won't be Mind Linking as much which kinda takes away the effect of that Dorimon.  But the Memory Gain one will almost always be active.

I removed the BT 7 Dorumon from the list not because it is a bad card but rather because it cannot search everything in the deck like I wanted it to.  If it could search the tamers then I would run it.  In its place I am running 3 of the BT 9 Dorumon due to most of the Digimon in the deck being X Antibody cards and even DORU-Don is an X Antibody card.  As a result the effect to trash a card from hand to draw to is almost always live and the draw two lets me dig deeper in my deck without the risk of bottom decking a tamer.  As for the fourth rookie I added in, that is a second copy of the SoC Agumon.  I also removed the Tyrannomon from the deck although that card can still be used quite effectively.  I added in Airdramon in its place due to them being Black colored and having an SoC trait.  This means that my Digimon can digivolve into and from them without any real downside.  This card also let me get a Marvin into play extremely easily while also providing more De-Digivolve effects.  The reboot inheritable is also useful.  I also took out one copy of Defense Training for another Kosuke.  This is because I am actually running the Agumon now so I actually get a little refund on their cost while at the same time drawing more cards.  And by having multiple of that Agumon on the board, I can gain two memory and draw two cards every turn which can get out of hand fast.  I am also debating on running more security option cards.  Most likely something like DG Dimension.  I might remove a BT 9 DexDorugamon for one.  Maybe both actually.  I will wait and see as I actually have the BT 16 Dorumon coming in the mail.  I am really excited about that.  I can finally play the deck at near full power.  I will just have to get the Marvin package, DexDorugoramon, and the Defense Trainings.  The Megadramon can wait for now.

I removed the Sephirothmon.  It isn't because the card is bad or anything.  I just wanted another rookie and another Airdramon.

I removed DORU-Din due to the condition that you need a Dorugoramon on board for it to do anything.  I added in another Metal Impulse as its replacement.  Honestly that is a flex spot for the deck.  You can even run a Death X there if you have one.  I personally don't have one as of posting this but might get one due to the price of the card going down so much.  I removed an Airdramon in exchange of adding another DexDorugreymon into the deck.  This makes it more likely for me to draw into my Dexs while gaining their valuable effects and protection.  I also got the BT 16 Dorumon I was missing today.  The DexDorugoramon are in the mail still and I am awaiting them.  Once those come in I only need to get the option cards and the Marvin engine.  Outside of that I am actually able to play the deck now.

I updated the deck to make room for the Black Scramble option card.  That card has an insane amount of synergy with the deck.

I made further adjustments to the deck to make room for more tech cards and give the deck more recursion.

Sheru Muko avatar

I added in two of the searcher Dorumon.  This is for it's inheritable and being able to find more pieces.

Sheru Muko avatar

I removed the Marvin engine entirely.  This gave me room for four of the Searcher Dorumon which I opted to add back into the deck to make it so I don't run out of cards in hand as often.  I also can run the promo Ukkomon to gain more memory.  I kept the Megadramon and removed a DexDorugreymon.  I don't need multiple and having too many Level 5s hurts the deck too much.  I removed the Scramble to add in another Defens Training.  Because I want to keep the Level 4 ratio I added in the non effect Dorugamon.  This is because I can revive it using Dorugreymon.

I added the Ukkomon engine into the deck.  Previously I didn't want to but I had a match today that made me realize that this deck needs all the help it can get.  So I am choosing to bite the bullet here and add them in.  I also added the scrambles in.  This gives the deck more recursion and swarming potential while giving the deck more searchers that can grab everything in the deck.0

Major update.   New Death X.  And a new option card that is a better version of Death X Digivolution.  That makes the deck way stronger now.

Sheru Muko avatar

The new option card is broken.  It lets you Digivolve from the trash for a reduced cost.  If you are digivolving into the deck using their alternative cost, you don't get much of a benefit.  But if going from one stage to the next you get to reduce the cost.  It is assentially a better scramble for the deck.  I added in Cool Boy to help gain more memory using this card.  It also lets me draw more cards and keep stuff in hand to use to break boards.  I am running the old Death X as it has an on play effect that combos extremely well with the new option card.  I lowered the number of Digimon in the deck to make room for these cards as they can bridge through the decks lines a lot more now.  The trash is basically a second hand to work with.  I will get the Death X and Cool Boy now.  I also removed the Marvin Engine entirely.  It was a little clunky.  I removed the Ukkomon engine.  This isn't because they aren't good in the deck.  It is because I now have an alternative that suits me more.

I also added in the one of Calling From The Darkness for further recursion.  I lowered the number of Level 4s in the deck by removing the non effect Dorugamon.  This is because the option makes the Dexs way easier to go into and helps bridge the decks combos more.
