Mastemon BT-14 Pet Deck (Updated):

the Mastemon deck is a strategic fusion-based deck that aims to optimize the synergy between light and darkness, ultimately culminating in the formidable presence of Mastemon on the battlefield, overpowering opponents and achieving victory.

It does so by playing a sustainable control with Blocker/Retaliation and board advantage by playing your level 5- for free and at the same time using on play effects to Recovery or Delete your opponents Digimon.

As a pet deck of mine I strive to force the deck into meta and will not stop until it is considered tier-0 (someday 🙃)

Digi-Eggs:

I believe that the Kyaromon's are a strong pick for the deck going into BT-14 as currently in the BT-13 meta I feel as though that you are always playing on the backfoot looking to control the board and afraid to swing as it would potentially mean the lose of a stack of angewomon/ladydevimon inheritables.

The Jamming effect I believe will induce more potential for swinging into secuirty without worry and can be triggered just by playing effects from the mastemon itself. This can also be triggered from the new Angemon/Patamon making pot-shots with lower level digimon early game much more viable.

Rookies:

The new BT-14 Patamon is the obvious choice for a good staple rookie. The god-hand/combo being turn one digivole in the back into patamon and play a tamer or pillomon if able. Turn 2 push out the Patamon triggering its "Start of Main Phase" trigger, digivoling into either GeoGreymon, Angemon, or Gatomon in that order assuming you have a tamer in secuirty. Extending the combo if you have a GeoGreymon and a Tamer (preferable Mirei for future setup) in secuirty, triggering the Kyaromon to go for a safe turn two check.

I am not yet 100% sold on the idea of the flood-gate over the Kudamon. The Kudamons fill a nice flexible Rookie slot but being able to pull any of out tamers and digimon outside of the LadyDevimons, Ordinemon or the Lucemon. However, because of this we want to make sure that we can obtain a LadyDevimon early game either by digivolving or via the BT-11 Angewomon and finding one in our secuirty stack.
