Hello everyone! Alan here. It's been a while!

For the past few months, I have been quietly working on overhauling digimoncard.io into a brand-new, modern website. This upgrade brings a complete site refresh, new and improved features, security improvements, and more!

As I neared completion of the overhaul, I invited a handful of users to the beta site to provide feedback. This feedback has been immensely useful in refining the site before launch, so a big thank you to everyone who assisted!

While the list is exhaustive, here are some key points:

  • Complete site refresh
  • Brand new deckbuilder (I'm very open to continued constructive feedback on this, as it can be the most contentious change)
  • Elasticsearch-powered search in the nav-bar
  • Refined and improved core features: Collection Manager, Deck Brew, Pack Simulator
  • Complete overhaul of the Cube drafting system
  • Overhauled forums (with the addition of specific card-driven forums)
  • Overhauled commenting system
  • New Card Pages
  • New Card Set Pages
  • New Analytics drive pages such as /snapshot

We also have enhanced use of card tooltips across the site for comments and deck descriptions. Agumon  agrees!

I hope you all enjoy the new site as much as I have enjoyed using it! Feedback is best sent to our bug report area on the forums.

Congratulations on the new version of the site! But one question: has the API been discontinued as a result?

Thanks! The public API has not been discontinued. It is however temporarily disabled until we settle into the new site and fix on-site issues as a priority. I'd expect it back in a week or so.
