Deck Primer

This is my updated Vortex Warrior deck.  I focused much more on building my stacks as fast as possible while suspending opposing Digimon to enable a one memory combo that is honestly quite destructive.  This deck is extremely memory efficient and can apply a ton of pressure.  I also switched the ratios on the Zephagamon.  Previously I focused on the Structure deck one more but now I am focusing more on the EX 7 one.  I also swapped out the Galemon promos for the new one

I also swapped out the Galemon promos for the new one due to the better effect.  I added in a single copy of the new Shoto as well.  It seems like it is a very strong card albeit a little situational.  I swapped the memory boost cards for the training options and swapped Vortex Resonance out for the Scrambles and the extra tamer.  Vortex Resonance is a strong card but this deck doesn't need it all that much and with it being a somewhat generic Secret Rare that should lower the decks price.  Feel free to run it if you want.  I was able to keep my preferred 12, 10, 8, 6 ratio for the Digimon.  12 rookies, 10 champions, 8 ultimates, and 6 megas.  Since I want to see my pieces quickly this ratio lets me build up my stack quite effectively.  Then there is the matter of the promo Pteromon.  Solid card but not exactly needed.  If you want to run it you can replace the copies of Muchomon for it.  I just like the Muchamons utility. That is all I have to say right now.  Thank you for reading this so far.  I really appreciate it.

This is a hyper specialized build.  Build up your stack and try to get your Shotos out as quickly as possible to control the board and gain a ton of memory back.  As I mentioned in the description, you can do a nasty combo with only one memory due to all the cost reduction and memory gain.  It is honestly disgusting.  It lets you do three security checks while deleting multiple Digimon by battle and going into a Zephagamon off of a single memory for turn.  It is a little piece reliant though so you need to make sure that you have them.  As long as you have the EX 7 Shoto you can make this combo even more destructive.  In fact having any of the Shoto can be a massive boon.  The BT 20 Shoto is also a walking Scramble card.  If I were to remove the scrambles I would add more of that tamer into the deck.  But they don't stack so keep that in mind.  I built this list after watching actual Zephagamon players play and thought that the deck is really cool and wanted to give my take on it.  That was when I found the deck to be shockingly memory efficient to the point where it is borderline unfair.  If you have the cards in hand, you can do that one memory play on your second turn.  That's how fast this deck is.  But there are not many players piloting the deck in tournaments right now for some reason.  I expect this deck to start seeing play once BT 20 is out.  I will be getting the cards in time as well.  This will be the green deck I would play.  I am also excited for the new Chronicle cards.  Alphamon is getting to be more focused on the X Antibody traits unlike Dorugoramon which is more focused on SoC.  As somebody who's favorite Digimon is Dorumon I am happy about this.  And the mechanic to play Digimon into the raising area is quite interesting although I do want to know if they get their on play effects.  No word on that yet. Here's hoping that I can finally play my X Antibody cards in the deck.  Also on attack digivolution combos.  New X Antibody option perhaps?

I just purchased the structure deck online as of today.  I will be getting it on around the 12th.  I will be ordering the missing cards for this list on a future date.  It all depends on certain circumstances.

I swapped out the Agility Training for Green Memory Boost.  This deck has a ton of cost reduction already so Agility Training is kinda redundant.  I also lowered the number of options to make room for another Structure deck Galemon.

I nearly forgot to mention this but there is a reason why I am not running the new Gallantmon.  It is more of a win more card that doesn't really benefit this deck all too much.  It is also a secret rare so not needed it is perfect.

Well we got a new pseudo level 7 for the deck.  I replaced the Structure Zephagamon for it.  It is a strong card that can end matches quite easily.  I am only running two since this deck does not need it all the time and it happens to be a little high in cost for my liking.

It's official.  I am building this deck IRL and I ordered everything the deck needs including the trainings and scrambles.  I just had to swap the ratios on the tamers for budget reasons.  Also the structure deck Zephagamon is there instead of the Ace.  Everything else is the same.

I made some adjustments to the deck.  I added in another copy of the new Shoto and removed one EX 7 Shoto to add in another ST Shoto.  I did this by removing HPD.  This lets the deck have more consistent suspend effects every turn.

I adjusted the decks ratios to include the Promo Pteromon and the other Promo Galemon.  This makes the deck able to reach higher DP thresholds alongside being able to suspend more Digimon.  I also added in a copy of the Level 5 Argomon which gives the deck some tamer control to help deal with Hybrid decks.  I removed two copies of the EX 7 Zephagamon to add in two copies of the Structure Deck Zephagamon.  That Zephagamon can reach really high DP and can make itself unaffected by Digimon Effects which helps this deck bypass Ace cards.  It's also a slightly lower cost to evolve into.  I also took out one of the EX 7 Shoto and one of the BT 20 Shoto to make room for two Green Memory Boost to help increase the decks consistency and memory efficiency.  I wanted to keep the Muchomon for the piercing though.
