Deck Primer

A very basic Ragnaloardmon deck with a couple of surprises inside. The idea with this one is that you want to get at least one fully decked out level 7 mon. Don't be afraid to build inside your breeding area when going against any decks that heavily skew towards dumping digivolution cards. Just make sure to get something out with blocking or have one dedicated mon for taking shots at suspended foes to keep them from dishing out too much damage. Don't leave yourself too open, but don't be afraid

Don't leave yourself too open, but don't be afraid to take a few hits either. That's what the tamers and plug-ins are for.

You want to build up as much memory as possible to add as many security checks and defenses to your biggest mon in one go. If you have a couple of Tais and a blue plugin ready to go, you're already halfway there. As long as you have enough memory for a radiation blade if you need it. A finishing swing should look like a RagnaLoardmon with 2 zubaedgemons (one of them from rowdy rocker, or a tialudomon if you need to whittle down a blocker), duramon, durandamon, a blue plugin, at least one Tai if not two, giving you at least 7 security checks if they all pull through just fine. You know, barring any security effects that may interrupt things. After that you just need to be able to strike directly with another mon. Any level 3 or higher will do if your opponent has no more blockers, so try to plan that accordingly. Or make sure they're at a disadvantage their next turn so you can finish them off your next.

As for the black cards in here, they're mostly there to support your main strategy.  Defending your security as necessary and whittling down theirs when their defenses are too tough to penetrate through. There's also a couple of removal options in the main and sideboard just in case things get dicey. This deck is in no way expertly made, I just wanted to do something cool with red blacksince we won't be seeing the Ragnaloardmon starter in English play for a while. I'm hoping to build on that one when the time comes, but for now this is a decent semi budget deck, with only a few expensive cards from BT9 that may drop by the time ST-13 hits.
