I revamped my yellow/red split in light of the new set on it's way. Red got a ton of support where yellow instead got new archetypes that I think will develope in the next set with the Sistermon cards. The only real interesting supporting card that I think is being slept on, is Sukuyamon.

Here are some updates + my overall thoughts on what I'm trying to do here:

Here are some updates + my overall thoughts on what I'm trying to do here:

The draw power + utility of Pulsemon is insane which is almost a good enough reason to splash this deck with yellow. The other rookies + Digitama are red because in this iteration, we can take our foot off of the yellow gas pedal. I loaded my rookies with Agumon because of Augumon Expert that allows us to never run out of seeds for our overall Greymon/Omnimon arch. The 4s here were a lot more picky than my first iteration of this deck before BT5. There is no need for yellow 4s here since our yellow 5s can evolve from red 4s. The only yellow 4 I include is Gatomon because her inherited effect supports our DP based removal especially in concert with Silphymon. Now our 5s are almost exclusively yellow/red hybrids so we have the ability to still evolve into Sakuyamon, although playing Sakuyamon for 12 on a defensive turn to stop your opponent from a breeding zone lethal is still a thing. She also can be a good tempo switch so you can safely hack away at security cards and have digimon live afterwards. The other 6s are just Greymon to really see this Greymon package through, they'll be able to inherit all of our juicy abilities, EVEN GATOMON's + they will be cheaper due to Nokia's effect. WarGreymon takes the place of Skullgreymon as a tech + instead is a staple because his inherited effect essentially allows Omnimon to delete a 4000DP if you have Gatomon's ability. Then, to me, with only three RizeGreymon, having three Marcus Damons made sense since we needed room for another Nokia to have a ton of memory gain/reduction all the way through since we have Greymon or Omnimon in every level.

Looking at how Gatomon works in this deck, there may be other yellow inherited abilities that could be swapped into this. I also think Magnadramon can swap in for maybe a Sakuya + one Wargreymon possibly. But I don't see defense being an issue in this deck especially with how quick you can get to cards. I think this deck also translates well into what is coming in BT6.

[ps. Nokia is best girl]
