Satsuki Tamahime (BT14-086) acts as a reusable source for Hybrids to evolve over.

Digimon:

Mercurymon (BT12-066) and Grumblemon (BT7-060) are cheap Hybrids which serve as the base for future evolutions. Mercurymon can also give Blocker to a Digimon.

BT12-065 and EX5-048 can taunt your opponent, forcing them to attack. This can be used to force Blast Digivolution and/or remove one of your opponent's Digimon.

Mamemon (BT11-068) and Cyberdramon (LM-025) are important cards in the deck as they can play out your tamer cards. Additionally, they can place the revealed cards back on top of your deck, allowing you to control your future plays. They also offer a defensive and offensive inheritable effect respectively.

Jijimon (BT11-056) can play a tamer when evolved. More importantly, it can look at the top X cards and play Digimon from there. (On average, you will look at the top 5 cards).

image

MegaGargomon (ST17-08) is a generic ACE card that can be used to stun certain pieces of your opponent's deck, preventing them from evolving. Pairs well with Etemon.

Quartzmon (BT12-057) can be used as an alternate win condition against other defensive decks. It can also punish the opponent's wide boards. Depending on the board state, it can be used as a finisher.

image

Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode (BT17-077) is mainly used to prevent deck out. However, it can also be used as a tech to counter trash-orientated decks as well as a finisher.

image

DeathXmon (BT9-112) is a very common floodgate. It can punish wide boards. It becomes another obstacle your opponent has to overcome,

These are additional cards that can be used in the deck.

Kosuke Kisakata (BT16-087)and Marvin Jackson (BT15-086) are alternatives for Satsuki. Both offer different memory-gaining effects. Moreover, Marvin can grant Jamming and Blocker to Cyberdramon ACE and MegaGargomon ACE.

image

Digimon Emperor (BT8-094) can be used to slow down certain decks. It can also help draw cards.

Chikurimon (ST13-08) and Chuumon (BT3-061) are generic floodgate cards for black, slowing down a handful of decks.

image

Betsumon (BT12-067) is used to warp into Quartzmon directly from Level 5.

image image

Justimon Blitz Arm (EX2-038) and RustTyrannomon (BT11-059) are alternate Level 6 cards for the deck. Justimon can be a High DP attacker or Board Wipe, while RustTyrannomon is basically a free evolution with a versatile [All Turns] effect.

Final Zubagon Punch (BT4-109)can give a Digimon Blocker for a cheap cost. It can also be used offensively by your Level 7 Digimon.

ex2-072 is an interesting card in this deck. It synergizes well with the deck since Mamemon and Cyberdramon ACE can put cards on top of your deck. It can also cheat out your Level 7 evolutions. On top of that, it has a very nice [Security] effect, allowing us to play a Tamer from our hand for free.

Final Notes:

This Deck Archetype can be used for decks which require some set-up (e.g: Justimon).
This deck is highly susceptible to decks with Tamer removal, or decks with Digimon who gain the ability to become unblockable.
