Deck Primer

This is my new version of Megidramon/Gallantmon.  This build is more focused on deleting Digimon during both players turns rather than just on your own turn.  You gain benefits for deleting Digimon but you also gain benefits for not deleting Digimon with your effects.  This forces your opponent to chose to place Digimon onto their battle area to avoid having their security be trashed from the BT 12 Gallantmon or give you extra memory due to inheritables and your tamers.  However

However this deck also has access to the new Ace cards for the deck.  This deck runs a lot of Ace cards which can apply a lot of pressure to your opponent.  If they attack they might lose multiple Digimon on their board.  And with the new inheritables in the deck, the DP based deletion thresholds increase drastically.  Megidramon Ace is a nasty card for this very reason.  It can provide and benefit from such effects.  When you are deleting your opponents Digimon you will gain benefits.  But you can also trash both players decks in theory.  I wanted to incorporate the mill parts of the deck but couldn't find room to make it truly work as a deck out win con.  Unless your facing Beelzemon good luck achieving that.  Speaking of Beelzemon, that is this decks most dangerous matchup.  Well any deck that benefits from milling really but Beelzemon can gain memory back from that.  This can lead to particularly nasty situations where you lose your turn and Beelzemon can go for an explosive turn on the crack back.  However due to this deck having multiple really powerful Ace Digimon, the previous weak point of the deck is gone.  It no longer has a bad defense.  I am going to continue updating the deck and try out different ratios to try to get the deck to become as strong as possible.  Although I want Megidramon to be the focus of the deck, Gallantmon just has more support in the deck due to the warp effects on the Takato.  But the Megidramon is more powerful during your opponents turn.  Pivot between the defense and offense in the deck to crush your opponent.

First of all, nice build, man. I have tried your build multiple matches, and it went pretty well. Your build revolves around being able to mill and deletes, which is great, but most of the time when I play this deck, it feels like it is not optimal enough. Since the new takato gives you raid most of the time, bt12 gallant feel expensive for no reason; bt17 gallant works better since it has some immunity (yes, you will lose the trash sec, but this will be a safer option and able to make the milling setup better for the long game) next is maxing the bt19 gorwlmon (personal opinion, not that matter) Last, the guilmon st7 is great and all, but if you're going for mill focus build, the rush guil form ex4 is just better. Let you warp to a gallant and swing for game.

eldonte0471, thank you for your input.  Although I have a few things I want to tell you.  I am not running that Gallantmon for a simple reason.  This deck doesn't have reboot. As a result the Blocker being gained after attacking isn't really the best.  The Raid Overlap doesn't matter too much for me as I am more focused on the benefits of it being a memory setter that can let me psuedo blitz.  Outside of that I am not focused on decking my opponent out.  I simply want to fill up both players trashes more often.  If I was opting for a mill focused variant I would be running a purple base.  Are you aware of the Millith Loop?  I would build something a little closer to that deck.  Also I do not like running more than three of the Tamer playing Level 4 Digimon.  When I play I typically only need to see one so having any more is a little much.  The other level 4 Digimon in this deck also provide milling to help fuel Gallantmon Crimson Mode Ace.  Again I only run one because this deck can retrieve it back from the trash and when it does come out the match is typically over.  And sorry for the late reply.  I literally just woke up.  I had a long day yesterday.  And thank you for trying my build out.  I am curious to know how you ended up playing the deck too.  I play it as an aggro deck that mills to fuel their effects and play stuff back from the trash as a resource engine.  Then I use the deletion effects to drain my opponent of their resources.  I have considered running the Rush Guilmon as well.  In fact during my testing I used to run four of them.  The new support isn't out yet where I live so I have to wait.  This deck is a theory crafting deck as well as a pet deck.  I am happy to see that at least somebody took the effort to go over my list and try it out.  For that I am grateful.  Have a great day.

Oh and one last thing that I forgot about.

I would like to hear your thoughts on my other deck list if you have the time.  Some are reuploads that I posted due to new support and me not being used to the website yet at the time or I just forgot I posted a similar deck before.  There are three Virus Imperialdramon list.  Just go for the newest of them.  The other two are called Imperialism and just ignore those for time sake.  Dex Program is the deck I am more known for.  There are a lot of builds I have posted but there is one that is more recent.  That is my tournament deck.   I typically play more defensive decks or at the very least midrange decks.  My playstyle reflects that.  My deck building comes from a decade of experience.  I play Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Pokemon, Cardfight Vanguard, MTG, Hearthstone, and Shadowverse Evolve.  I know how to play Future Card Buddyfight too but was never able to play due to the game getting canceled.  I have heard rumors that they are bringing it back.  I am certain that this shows in my deck building.  Yu-Gi-Oh is more of a combo centric game so my decks tend to have interactions with their own cards.  Vanguard has taught me how to manage my resources more effectively to defend.  Shadowverse has taught me that in order to survive I have to generate advantage to sacrifice to control the game.  Hearthstone has taught me that taking a risk is something that you need to learn to do.  It also taught me the importance of tempo.  MTG has taught me how to deal with ratios in deck building.  Let's just say that out of all the card games I play that is the one I am the worst at.  Still regional level though.  Digimon has taught me how to use all of these lessons together.  I am one of the strongest players where I live because of this.  My decks tend to be fast and are quickly able to adapt to a situation unless J specifically chose to min max them.  They also tend to be a little tricky to play as well.  For example my Blind Justice deck is tricky to use do to the gimmick of the deck.  It is fast and can apply a lot of pressure but the trick to the deck is to manage your security values.  Don't go all in unless you have a backup plan.  Trashing your own security is an inherent risk.  But the benefits outweigh the downsides for me.  I don't typically play Yellow decks.  I tend to play Purple, Black, and Red decks.  Or at least a combination of the three.  Yellow, Blue, and Green decks I don't typically play.  Simply put there aren't many decks that I like of those colors.  Yellow is just a little too slow and heavy control for my liking.  Reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh stun decks.  Blue decks are close but I am not particularly attached to any outside of the aquatic and Veemon based decks.  I don't own any green decks anymore.  I had one of them but gave it to a friend to help get them into the game.  He has gotten a lot better.  Also it was Bloomlordmon if you were curious.  I do have the Blue and Green Imperialdramon deck but J consider it to be more of a Blue deck than a Green deck.  The first two decks that I built were Beelzemon and Blue Flare.  My Blue Flare variant has been updated recently due to the new support.  I am actually only missing commons to rares in that deck.  I will be finishing that build in time.  I know that it isn't likely that anybody will be reading my comments let alone take a look at my deck list but I am happy when people do.

Thanks for the reply bro, i'm pretty new to the game so my expirience can't say much, but i do love gallantmon and jellymon playstyle, yes i also try many deck that're similar to them but i don't know it dosen't tick me as those two, i do alot of theory crafting and try them at my locals. So far jellymon seems pretty ok, but gallant has always been a punching bag at my locals, most of the maches when i play gallant was pretty hard to win, i tried X anti body build but it was too luck reliance and was too easy to get brick or next to useless, i tried warp focus build then realise the warp of the st7 guil doesn't work as much as i tended, i too tried full mill build but again i felt too gimicky like i was playing a clunky beelzamon, then i was introduced to calumon so a give it a try and do some theory crafting and doing pretty well, able to win most of the time play testing at my locals, so i look up to find anyone who build a similar deck and i stumbled upon your build, i used your build as a base then replace them with few for my own preferences. I was hoping since you acctually know what youre doing, so i wonder if you have tried some of the new upcoming gallant updates

P/s: Sorry bro, i live over sea and by the time i replied it was early night while your's was early morning lol

No problem.  If you like Gallantmon and Jellymon then I would recommend taking a look at Dorugoramon.  It has the same aggressive tendencies that Gallantmon has and also benefits from the trash.  But it can also do multi attacks like Jellymon.  It is also a lot more defensive that Gallantmon is.  It is on the more difficult to master side of things.  My friends fear that deck when I play it.

I forgot to mention that I am actually a Dorugoramon player myself.  Take a look at my Dex Program deck list and you can see where I am coming from.  I run more rookies than the average player though.  I also run less of the Dex's.  If you have a Death X then you can run it.  The deck has a lot of ways to be built.
