White BT-09: Booster X Record Budget
Playtest Purchase
Deck Primer

X Antibody is just amazing in this deck. You absolutely wanna get it asap. Therefore, one should run 4 copies. Just test it and dont listen to people who are telling you to run less for consistency. First of all, in the current meta the speed is needed. I would rather add additional variance than loose consistently. Furthermore, I think I found a way to play around drawing a second copy. You can actually make it work rather well to put your second Mama D into the battle area under some circumstances.

Even if money is not an issue, I wouldn't play DeathXmon atm. It sucks in the mirror and while it is great in punishing going wide and bad play by your opponents, it is so dominant that I expect people to adapt to it soon. DeathXmon is in fact a very conditional card.

Starmons and Palates combine very well in the late game. Dont feel rushed to kill your opponents rookies with them, unless you are under very hard pressure. Instead, wait until your big mama is stacked high enough, so you can play Palates nearly for free and optimally a Starmons directly following it. You can often even take out 15k DP digimon.

I cant describe the game plan for every matchup. But in general, go for board control and OTK. Dont attack your opponent early if you are not absolutely sure what you are doing.

Hope, you are curious enough now to try it out for yourselves. Would be glad, to hear your thoughts on this and get some feedback how your playtesting experience was.

Bringing up some math behind the 4th copy of X Antibody (X):

You can be confident to get 2 searchers and thus have drawn 8 cards by your second turn. The probability to have X in your and be ready to snowball the moment your mama enters the field is then 51% vs 41%. Until your 13th draw we get 71% vs 60%. If as a rough estimate, this 10% higher chance to draw X early translates into a 5% higher win rate that is already a huge difference for changing just one card in a 3-game match.

The only thing really bothering me would be that the probability to draw 3 copies in a game goes up to 5% vs 1.5%. But that didn't happen to me once during nearly 100 games of playtesting.  Don't underestimate that human shuffling is rarely truly random. You just got to trust in the heart of the cards on this one. Topdeck Budde ftw! If you know, you know...

I might reconsider the recommendation for playing with an online client though.
