Deck Primer

I am begging for Devimon support, a retrain of the level 6, a tamer, x-antibody, egg, option, anything.

The Theory:

DanDevimon is the boss for the deck. DanDevimon is an impressive 12k body with 2 very unique abilities. The on deletion that hand loops an opponent for 2 and Once Per Turn being able to remove an opponent's security if they take yours. Both abilties are rather slow and have an obvious weakness to any card that can take more security, forcing the Devimon deck to race the security stack

Both abilties are rather slow and have an obvious weakness to any card that can take more security, forcing the Devimon deck to race the security stack before it's too late. Before BT12 Devimon lacked alot of suffistocated tools to assist with this, however, with Wisemon the card is able to play a strong defense roll in it's deck. The ideal stack with DanDevimon is the Promo Devidevimon, BT-2 Devimon, and Wisemon. This allows DanDevi to be a 12k blocker with retalliation and the ability to self revive itself on deletion. This allows Devimon to also counter it's biggest challenges, other Digimon with over 12k power, digimon with a high security attack, and going wide strategies. With this, Dan is able to effectively block, trade, or deter with those attacks. The other Mega, MaloMyotismon, is excellent for many of the same reasons, however, Malo benefits from being able to make it your turn with his (all turns) gain a memory when a digimon is deleted. An excellent way to deter smaller threats by memory choking an opponent or forcing it back to your turn.

The other digimon in the deck souly serve as names for the Promo DemiDevi or ways of dumping names in grave. NeoDevimon is the most interesting as it's a digimon very much worth hard playing for 7 in specific matchups, however, I rarely find myself digivolving over NeoDevimon because it's inheritable is not nearly as important or desirable as Wisemon. LadyDevimon also suffers many of the same issues. While being able to fill up the trash effectively it's inheritable is not very desirable for the Mega strategy.

Kari is used to punish the opponent. Kari alongside Dan make swinging into your security unappealing. Matt can be replaced with almost any memory tamer. By using Matt, you can guarantee three memory after forcing the opponent's turn to end with a combination of MaloMyotismon and Kari.

The Options soley exist for removal, with Evil Squal killing go wide boards and Pandemonium Flame being able to trigger a Dan or Demi deletion trigger, while also being free thanks to MaloMyotismon or Analog Youth reducing or even gaining memory. Win Rate 60% exist to force a very early DanDevimon while also putting more names in trash and allowing you to play more cards. Either building another stack or commiting a tamer to field.

Another option over Malo is VenomMyotismon from BT-2. Venom is able to memory choke your opponent but when your opponent's digimon become suspended instead of deleted but has an unconditional Security Attack +1 (a rare thing in purple). This allows Venom to chunk your opponent's security effectively during your turn and allowing DanDevi to chunk it during the opponent's turn. An option over LadyDevi is Arukenimon. Being able to play a Malo for free while also deleting herself can trigger a Promo Devi trigger putting 2 Megas on field. However they lack the inheritables that make them massive threats. A potential Option change is Jack Raid. With the amount of trashing the deck does, Jack Raid can easily give 2 memory but can also be an excellent card to be hit in security, gaining 2 memory and potentially ending turns. Good rookies to consider instead of the Gabumon's are EX-1 DemiDevi (for the sole purpose of being another Devi-name) or Tsukaimon, as another way of pushing memory back to your turn. Analog Youth is also a good tamer, as it helps dig through the deck and dumps potential names in grave, while also being excellent at comboing with destroying your own DanDevi.

Weaknesses: One of the biggest weakness of the deck is de-digivolving (especially Ultimate Flare) as it bypasses DanDevimon's deletion effect but can strip the inheritable ofthe Promo-Devimon, but more memory setters prove to be the most universal answer to the deck. The deck excels at putting the opponent on lower memory late game, however, a memory setter negates much of that, making cards like Kari & the Myotis megas less efficient at ending the opponent's turn. An option for this is Zwart Defeat, however, with the decks want to focus on the Megas effects, it's hard to commit to Zwart as an answer and it is better to play more aggressive in removing the digimon threatening your security stack (weither that's blocking with Dan, removing with Pandemonium Flame, or aggressively attacking with a retalliation Devimon).

Strengths: The biggest strength of the deck is it's high impacts on the board with it's memory choking effects and it's consistency in getting names in grave and consistently being able to play your mega level digimon.
